Kayla and Carter head out to Pine Cove again this year for summer camp. It has become a tradition and one Andy and I love to give them. They are gone for a week to Tyler, TX and enjoy swimming, sports, horses, "theme nights", etc. As well as having a blast, they are poured into by great counselors and experience how much God loves them!

BFF's Kayla and Caroline---neither of them would go to Pine Cove without the other...it is their 4th summer and they LOVE every minute!
BFF's Carter & Brody head to Pine Cove together. They always have so much fun making each other laugh...what a great team to have each other at Pine Cove too...it is their 3rd summer!
Kayla and her counselor, "Facelift". All the counselors get these crazy names but it makes it all the more fun :). The counselors give CQ's (character qualities) to each camper after their week together describing each camper. Facelift said the following about Kayla: She is courageous. Her enthusiastic attitude is contagious to the people she meets. She is encouraging and a motivation to those around her.
Carter and his counselor, "Como Se Llama"! Another great camp name and Carter said he was awesome! Carter's CQ was great to hear too! Como Se Llama said: Carter is compassionate and polite to the people he meets. His sensitive nature allows him to connect with others in a positive way. Carter's self-starter mindset is evident in how he takes intiative to offer help to others in need.

Carter slept on me during Kayla's cermony and was out again on the way home in the car. He also slept for 4 hours! Hats off to another great week at Pine Cove!!!
